Two big movies have released today (1 December ), first is Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal and second is Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur.
It’s undeniable that Animal has outperformed Sam Bahadur in terms of ticket sales; in fact, Animal is poised to set and surpass several records. The official Twitter account for the film Animal just shared a message about the creation of history as Animal becomes the first Hindi film to gross $1 million or more in North America.
It said in the tweet, “HISTORY IS MADE!! Premiering at 5:30 PM PST, #Animal reached $1 million in North America! The first-ever Hindi movie to do this! There will be a lot more record breaking!

Animal is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and it also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in important roles. The movie has been awarded an “A” certificate by the censor board and recently Alia Bhatt also reviewed her hubby’s movie and termed it as outstanding and khatarnaak.
