PM Yashasvi Scheme 2024

MSJ&E, a national testing agency founded by the government of India, is an autonomous, self-sufficient premier testing organization that conducts efficient and transparent standardized tests for the admission of applicants to premier higher education institutions. Consequently, the government has developed the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for a Vibrant India (Yashasvi).

This scholarship is restricted to OBC, Nomadic, and semi-nomadic tribes, and DNT. The exact eligibility requirements are outlined in the next section. Students in 9th grade and those in 11th grade are awarded scholarships at two different levels. This scholarship program is granted only to Indian students. by the specific state/union territory to which the applicant belongs, i.e., where she/he resides. A written examination known as the Yashasvi ENTRANCE TEST 2024 will be used to select applicants for scholarship awards.

26th January 2024 Update:- Applications invited for PM Yashasvi Scheme 2024 through NSP Portal

Through the PM Yashasvi program, OBC, EBC, and DNT students can apply for the Top-Class School Education and Top-Class College Education schemes through the National Scholarship Portal until January 31, 2024. ₹32.44 crore has been made available for pre-matric scholarships and ₹387.27 crore for post-matric scholarships to states and union territories (UTs) in 2024. The purpose of these scholarships is to support students as they continue their education beyond pre-secondary education.

With the help of PM Yashasvi, students from underprivileged backgrounds will be empowered, equal access to education will be ensured, and a better future for India’s youth will be fostered. Applications for the National Scholarship Portal will be accepted through January 31, 2024, giving qualified students the chance to take advantage of these programmes and improve their chances of getting into college.

26th Sept Update:- No entrance exam to get a scholarship from 2024

For the PM YASASVI scholarships in 2024, the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment has chosen an alternative method of distribution. The PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (PM-YASASVI) 2024 would be awarded exclusively based on merit, without the use of an entrance exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided not to hold the previously scheduled merit test in light of the decision issued by the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment. The department chose while considering the students’ convenience in light of the time constraints. According to the rules of the scheme, candidates will be chosen based on a merit list created after taking their grades from classes VIII and X into account.
