AAI Cargo Logistics and Allied Services Company Limited

AAI Cargo Logistics and Allied Services Company Limited (AAICLAS) is a company wholly owned by the Airport Authority of India. It was started in 2016. India’s economy has been growing, and there are more air cargo services and airports in the country now. Because of this, the Airports Authority of India made a separate company specifically for developing air cargo and logistics.

Currently, AAICLAS operates 20 international and 31 domestic air cargo terminals across India, along with a single courier facility. They’ve implemented an advanced baggage screening system at 11 airports. AAICLAS has been granted a special status by BCAS, enabling them to function as a regulated agent in multiple cities such as Chennai, Kolkata, Surat, Bhopal, Jaipur, Indore, and Tirupati. Moreover, they’ve commenced their role as a Cargo Terminal Operator in Chennai and Kolkata.
