About role
- The John Hunter Medical Institution is seeking a committed Affected Person Delivery Officer (PTO) to ensure that patients requiring inter-facility delivery receive the proper standards of care and to deliver them in a safe, efficient, and timely manner for Hunter Retrieval carrier staff and patients. The successful applicant must work as a multi-skilled member of the Hunter Health Center staff, providing non-clinical assistance inside the critical care areas of the campus to supplement the delivery of safe, efficient, and exceptional patient care, even though retrieval responsibilities are not required.

Based mostly at John Hunter Hospital, the HRS offers hospital therapy, delivery, and critical care recommendations for seriously ill and injured patients in Hunter New England, the Mid-North Coast, and beyond, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
Patients are flown by fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, and/or avenue.
A senior in-depth care nurse and a consultant or senior trainee from emergency, anesthesia, or in-depth care make up the inter-clinic retrieval group.
