The Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana, a groundbreaking initiative by the Indian government, continues to empower farmers by integrating renewable energy into their agricultural practices. For 2024, this scheme aims to provide substantial benefits and support to farmers across India.
What is Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana?
The Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana is a government scheme designed to promote solar energy usage among farmers. The program focuses on providing financial support and incentives to install solar power systems for irrigation and other agricultural needs, thereby reducing dependence on diesel and grid electricity.
Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana Most parts of the country face the problem of water shortage. Which has a direct impact on farming and irrigation. This affects crop production. Not every farmer can use expensive means for irrigation. Due to the rising price of diesel, it is not easy for all farmers to use these means. In such a situation, many schemes are being run by the central and state governments for irrigation. PM Kusum Yojana is also one such scheme where farmers are given the facility to install solar pumps through subsidy. So that farmers do not have to face water related problems in farming.

केंद्र और राज्य सरकार किसानों की मदद के लिए कई तरह की योजनाएं चलाती है. उन्हीं में से एक योजना का नाम है प्रधानमंत्री कुसुम योजना (Pradhanmantri Kusum Solar Pump Yojana 2022). इस योजना के जरिए सरकार किसानों को सोलर पंप लगाने के लिए सब्सिडी की सुविधा देती है. इसमें आपको सोलर पंप लगवाने के केवल 20 से 30 प्रतिशत तक का खर्च आता है.
देश में बढ़ते प्रदूषण और जलवायु परिवर्तन (Global Warming) के खतरे को देखते हुए सरकार सोलर एनर्जी के सेक्टर को बढ़ावा दे रही है. सरकार की कोशिश है कि वह इस योजना से आम लोगों को जोड़कर कमाई का एक शानदार मौका दे सकें. पीएम कुसुम योजना की शुरुआत सरकार द्वारा साल 2019 में की गई है.

सरकार देती है 60% सब्सिडी
सरकार पीएम कुसुम योजना PM Kusum Yojana 2022 के जरिए किसानों को सोलर पैनल लगवाने पर करीब 60 प्रतिशत की सब्सिडी देती है. वहीं 30 प्रतिशत लोन आपको बैंक से मिल जाता है. वहीं कुल 10,000 रुपये खुद का लगाना होगा. इसके बाद आप मुफ्त की बिजली का लाभ उठा सकते हैं. इस योजना से किसानों को बड़ा लाभ मिलता है क्योंकि सिंचाई के लिए उनकी निर्भरता आम बिजली पर कम होती है और इसका असर खेती पर साफ दिखता है.
इस तरह होगी कमाई
अगर किसी किसान के पास 5 से 6 एकड़ की जमीन है तो वह यह सोलर प्लांट लगाकर कम से कम 15 से 20 लाख यूनिट (Electricity Unit) तक पैदा कर सकता है. इसे 3 रुपये प्रति यूनिट के हिसाब से बेचकर 60 लाख रुपये तक की कमाई कर सकता है. वहीं इतने बड़े फील्ड में आपको सोलर प्लांट शुरू करने के लिए करीब 20 लाख रुपये का खर्च लगेगा. ऐसे में 40 लाख रुपये सालाना आप इस योजना के जरिए कमाई कर सकते हैं. इसके साथ ही सिंचाई के लिए पानी और बिजली की समस्या भी दूर होगी.
योजना के लिए आवेदन का तरीका-
पीएम कुसुम योजना आपको इसकी सरकारी वेबसाइट https://mnre.gov.in/ पर विजिट करना होगा. इसके साथ ही आपको अपने प्रॉपर्टी, आधार कार्ड, बैंक डिटेल्स की जानकारी भी साझा करना होगा. ध्यान रखें कि आपकी जमीन किसी बिजली सब स्टेशन से 5 किलोमीटर के दायरे में होनी चाहिए. तभी आपको इस योजना का लाभ मिलेगा.

- After reaching to the portal, the beneficiary have to first choose the option from whether they want to lease their land or interested in solar agriculture pumps.
- Fill all the details asked in the respective application form and also upload the necessary documents.
- Review the application form before its final submission.
- Post submission, you will receive a successfully registration message with its details (like registration number).
